Ok first of all if your in labor call someone and start timing contractions if they are in the neighborhood of 3 to 5 minutes you need to call for help and stay calm. Everything will be ok. I like the name Evan but i am more concerned about u being in labor than that of the babys name. If you are in labor and it is time get up and walk around. This will help the contractions along If its not time get off your feet and push lots of water this will help to slow it down... Good luck hun and don't worry about the father running off some kids are better off that way.. Take it from me a mother of 5... Your in my prayers.
