I'm 16 and I'm having twin girls, do you think that its gonna hurt bad since I'm young and I'm havin twins

Answer:
YES Baby-girl it is going to hurt like hell! Labor is not easy! And it's going to hurt, not because of your age or due to the fact that it's twins, but because of all that labor involves!

The only area your "age" is going to come in is from a maturity standpoint, your body is still developing, therefore you don't have the pelvis, etc of a grown woman.

However, PRAY about this entire process! You are about to have a long road ahead of you that is going to make you "grow up" really fast! But, be encouraged; many have had children at your age before you and many will after you. Let ALL this pregnancy involves for you be a learning and growing experience! I will keep you lifted in prayer!
All labor hurts (whether you have 1 or 2 or 4 babies) but it won't hurt more because you have two. You have a higher chance of having small babies though and might need a C-section since you are so young. Good luck.
Yes it will hurt bad but not because of your age. It hurts bad for everyone. As for twins I have never had them but I hear alot of women say that it is not much different than having one.
I doubt it most likely you will be having a C-section and the actual labor should not be painful. The post-partum part I'm not sure I have never had a C-section, but I tell you what Good luck it is hard enough to have one, good luck with two
The best person to talk to is your OB but I can tell you as a mother of twins that I don't think the pain of birth is any different than having one baby. I was 26 when they were born via C-Section though.

Good luck!
Young or not labor and delivery is painful.
1)It has nothing to do with age; but everything to do with pelvis shape and size.
2)Having a baby(ies) is going to be at least somewhat uncomfortable, even with drugs.
3)Be careful, and God be with you.
4)p.s. The others are right, the chance of you delivering via C section are high. A C section is a little harder to recover from; just make sure you follow all the suggestions. Make sure you get up and try to walk, at least short distances, the same day as surgery.
Please, go talk with a doc, this is not the right place to answer that :)
wow...I think it hurts that you're 16 and having kids that young in the first place. Whatever you did up to this point...don't make the same mistake with your kids.
you will probably have a c-section. the pain is going to be intense if yhou are in labor, but you soon forget it when you see those wonderful babies. they will give you apin meds and I would suggest an epidural because it reaklly helps with pain control.
WELL HONEY IT'S NOT GOING TO FEEL GOOD YOU CAN GET SEDATIVES I DON'T RECOMMEND THEM ! THE WORST PAIN YOU ARE GOING TO FEEL IS THE CONTRACTIONS AND WHEN THE HEAD CROWNS. YOU NEED TO DISCUSS THIS WITH YOUR DOCTOR I HAVE BOTH MY KIDS NATURAL. REMEMBER BREATH THROUGH THE CONTRACTIONS. GOOD LUCK !! I SURE HOPE THE GIRLS FATHER IS THERE TO SUPPORT YOU !
Labour hurts no matter how old you are and no matter how many kids you are having. Common sence tells you that when a baby comes out of your vagina, IT"S GONNA HURT!
the Labour will be painful. the contractions will feel painful no matter how big the baby is. But you could argue that by having twins they each will be smaller than if you had a single baby which would be bigger. Aat the end of the day it is the size of the baby that causes the extreme pain towards the end. I believe your pregnancy will be more uncomfortable as you are carrying around more weight but your birth will be less painful. But pain is relative, if this is your first pregnancy then you have no frame of reference. Good luck and try to ignore the idiots in this group.
its going to hurt them far more than its going to hurt you...

I doubt you have a good wage.. I doubt you own your own home with a yard for them to play in
I doubt you are married and in a stable commited relationship
I doubt you have a savings plan so they can go to College or get braces
I doubt you have high self esteem needed to be a parent (if you had high self esteme you wouldnt be pregant and certanly wouldnt be here talking about it)

so in the long run it will hurt them more than you.. if you want them to have a good future - place them for adoption.. THAT is the most mature thing you can do.. THAT is true love
OK first off i had a baby at 17 "just turned 17 one day before i had him" any way it is the worst pain ever i did it with no pain medication "i was a high risk pregnancy and had read some information that pain medication can make the baby lethargic" your labor will last longer but trust me it's worth it . and to the guy that posted first and too "too funny" if your going to be jerks then don't bother posting i was in her situation once and that's the last thing she needs too hear is two close minded people that don't even say anything intelligent.and the person at the top if your saying shes unintelligent because shes having baby's at 16 then obviously your the one that's unintelligent.

Being young should not affect how much pain you have during labor. But I would say considering your age and that you are caring twins your ob doc will probably scheduele you for a c-section. (thats how my cousins twins where born..but she was 20) Now for the c-section I've had two including 21 hours of regular labor with the first child and about 4 hrs of contracitons with the second child. I'm not gonnna lie the contractions do hurt but as soon as you have your epidural all the pain is gone. A c-section is not as bad as everyone puts it out to be. Just make sure that when the doc/nurse comes to get you out of bed you get up and move around (yes you will be sore) But if you dont get up it will just be worse for you. And when you get home make sure you walk around from time to time to work the soreness out, just dont over do yourself. And I dont wanna scare you or anything but my cousins twins where delivered about 4 weeks early so they did spend a few weeks in icu before they came home! So you might wanna talk to your doctor about all this he/she can let you know what all to expect. I wish you all the luck in the world! Twins are alot of work (i've been a few extra hands for my cousin quit a bit)!! Good Luck! and I hope you have plenty of people to help you out!
Most likely you will end up having a c-section. It not likely that you will be able to deliver both naturally. Anyway, the contractions are painful but that is why they have an epidural. Ask the nurse when your cut off is for getting the epi. it's usually 4cm. You don't feel any pain just pressure, and you're awake for everything, even for the c-section, but you don't watch. You may be uncomfortable afterwards but nothing excrutiating. You should be fine and congrats!
I think most likely you will have a c-section...but yeah anyone having two babies at a time its gonna hurt..
