It probably won't until the last few months and even then it only gets hard when you get braxton hicks contractions which is your body's way of 'practicing' for labour. I got them stronger and more frequent the closer I got to my due date.

Your belly will not get hard until the last 8 to 10 weeks. When your baby starts to take every last bit of room.
it varies from person to person. I am overweight, so I was soft until 7 months. Some women are hard sooner, some never are.
you are very anxious. you have a long way before that will happen. generally in the 8 and sometimes towards the very end. but mostly depends on how small or big your child is

Depends on how much fat you have. No offense though. If your stomach is already big like youre 8 months pregnant, then you might never show. I showed at 6 weeks because I was really small. I immediately knew I was pregnant, and then I saw the line darkening.Same thing with hardening. It was very painful. It was like I was full all the time.
