I took 3 HPT, all came up positive..but?
Could it be too early to be pregnant, and could it just be a cyst causing the tests to be positive?

I smoked some pot, drank a lot of beer, took Advil, am on the Pill, had sex, and had Chinese food for dinner. Can that affect my test results? No. There is no food*, no alcohol, no contraceptive, and no illegal or over-the-counter drug that can mess up your HPT results, and semen cannot affect the test. The only drugs that can affect pregnancy test results (in the form of a false positive) are prescription drugs that contain hCG (such as Profasi, Pregnyl, Ovidrel, etc.) They are prescribed for fertility treatments or other "female problems." If you are taking one of these drugs, ask your doctor how soon you can use a pregnancy test (different doses require different amounts of time to leave your system, so what works for one woman might not work for you.) *Food itself does not cause false results, but can affect how much urine you have and how dilute it is. Eating salty chips and drinking caffeine all day will result in more concentrated pee, whereas gorging on watermelon and ginger ale will result in lots of very dilute pee. Very diluted urine during very early pregnancy may result in a false negative. For best results, pee in a cup first and make sure your pee is medium to dark yellow.

a pregnancy test is merely a test for the presence of HCG (human chorionic gonadotropic hormone), which is found in pregnancy. If HCG is present, you are pregnant. If it is not present, you are not pregnant (unless you took the test too early and it HCG has not built up sufficiently). For all intents and purposes, if the pregnancy test is positive, you are pregnant (whether you have an ovarian cyst or not).
are you late? its possible that there wasn't enough hcg (pregnancy hormone) in your urine yet for the first 2 tests to be + last week. good luck to you!
Girl your pregnant. Three test all positive. Yep your Pregnant. But keep your apt with you gyn, just to make sure plus in the first three months you can miscarry very easily. Plus your gyn will tell you if you need to start maternity vitamins. Plus when that happen you got to get booked for alot of other test. Take care of your self and best of luck.
Your pregnant. The last tests were negative cause your HCG levels werent high enough. Ive never heard of cysts affecting the test only meds. But just go to your doctor and congrats
