I was wondering if it is to early to get pregnant?
Answer:
Honestly, i couldnt tell ya what the docs and the other professionals say, but it sounds a bit too soon to me. Just think about it- being pregnant in itself is A LOT of work for your body. Then there's the trauma with delivery. geesh lol. It seems that waiting at least two years would be ideal to give your body enough time to heal, that's all. Also, I would think about two children that small in the house- you're gonna have your hands full!- anyhoo, those are only my opinions, but the best thing for you to do would be to talk with SEVERAL doctors about it and then make a healthy decision. Good Luck and Congrats on ur baby!!
If you feel that you are ready to be pregnant again I wouldsay go for it. I would talk to my doctor first though, just to make sure that my body would be able to handle it all over again and so soon after just giving birth.
No, it's not too early, but it's best to wait for a year. It takes that long for your body to recover from the original pregnancy and labor. And it's a whole lot of work with 2 kids under 2.you won't know that with only a 4 month old but trust me..
No, I know 2 brothers who are 11 months apart
I read a parenting book, and sorry I don't remember which one exactly, but it said that the most healthiest thing to do was to have your children two years apart.
Yes, I have an 8 year old son and a 1 year old and boy it is tuff even being that far apart. I say too early wait until the child is @ least 2 years old.
yeah its too early
Do you mean physically? NO
Morally? Too early for WHAT?
I guess you need to clarify
Nope..... my cousins are ten or eleven months apart.
if you feel liek you are ready but i would reccomend you wait a few more mons give it time and rasie the one you got a little while
There is increased risk of some complications when pregnancies are so closedly spaced.
For example, miscarriage is more common, since your uterus has just barely had a chance to heal at this point.
Also, there is an increased incidence of neural tube defects (serious problems with the brain and spinal cord). This is caused by folic acid deficiency -- you use it all up in pregnancy, and don't have time to build up a good supply if you get pregnant too soon.
(Anyone who is thinking about getting pregnant should take 400 mcg of folic acid daily.)
Also, for your own health -- if you haven't lost that baby weight, it will be even harder if you get pregnant again so soon.
Health-wise, it's best to wait a year. But there are always many considerations.
