How does anyone learn to teach their kids right when the parents these days are so coniving?

You have to raise your children to what you believe is right, what is legal, what is best for the child. There are many misdirected parents, so you take all the good you know and teach it to your, children. When they are old enough to rebel, they will take what you have taught them and the example you set and decide how they are going to live their lives. Even if they are rebelous, your example and teachings will continue to have an effect on their outcome.
Well there you go - where did the parents get it from? Kids today are no worse than any generation before them. That is just a myth made up by some uptight fools. The fact is we are less tolerant as a society. We want everything our way, to suit us, right now..memories are short and blurry.
Teach the moral vaules and spend more time with them. Don't work 24/7.
