hi i did the same as you. i thought i was not pregnant because i did 3 pregnancy tests (2 days apart from each other) when my periods were due all came back negative. i went to my G.P and he did another test to make sure and it was possitive! if your really unsure wait a week after your period is due and do another test if this comes back negative then i recomend you go to your G.P. i hope this helps. good luck!

I was late with my period and then when it did come it was light and brown then went away. Two weeks later i found out i was pregnant. If you are pregnant and got a negative result it's because your body didn't have enough pregnancy hormone yet. I've also had friends that spotted and it turned out they were pregnant. If it has been at least a week since the last time you tested then go ahead and test again if it comes up negative call and make an appointment at the doctors, they will tell you for sure.
Sometimes your hormones can play games with your body. I have has a month go by and not start my period. But the next month I was fine. But if you are that worrie dyour pregnant and want to know I suggest you call your doctor and have them do a urine test or even a blood test. It will ease your mind.
You took the text too early and spotting usually is a sign that the egg has implanted itself in your uterine wall. You may very well be pregnant. I would take another test and/or go straight to the doctor for further evaluation.
