Isn't that a very anti life statement to make? Meaning of course that if you are not born then we want you, but if you are old enough to make a decision that we don't agree with then you should just die and we don't care.

No, I identify myself as pro choice. While I don't think I would ever have an abortion there are circumstances where someone might have. I don't agree with women using abortion as a form of birth control. I just think every woman has a right to decide what to do and the government shouldn't tell her she can't.

I think I'm classified as pro life, but not, because of that reason.
If someone is going to do something KNOWING there is a chance they will die in the process, and they aren't doing anything to HELP someone, then I don't really pity them for dying. I always want to cry for the aborted babies, because they DIDN'T have a choice. They are punished for something completely out of their control.
It isn't really hypocrisy. It's, "Hey, you chose it. The baby didn't. You kill your baby you can die."
But I have a friend who had an abortion so I understand the other side too. (Yes I rambled and got WAY off course in my answer.)

I'm very much pro-life. However, I don't think I've been heartless enough to make such an insensitive statement. People choose to abort children for many reasons, and I can't put myself in their shoes to make a decision for them. With that said, laws need to be changed to prohibit women from using abortion as a form of birth control. If one cannot be responsible enough to keep from repeatedly getting pregnant, then a choice should be made for that irresponsible person, just as a parent makes choices for irresponsible children.
Personally, there are very few instances where I would have an abortion. Maybe if I had been impregnated by a monkey, then I'd definitely consider reaching for the nearest coat hanger. Or on the serious side, if either myself or child was in serious danger of survival.
