Why in the world would you have your tubes tied over using birth control?
Answer:
Because BC is not 100% effective. Also don't have to worry about missing pills. Some people such as myself can not take BC for medical reasons, and when I choose that I am done having kids, (I only have one right now) then I will probably get my tubes tied. All of the hormones in birth control can wreak havoc on a womans body and mind.
sometimes birth control doesn't work and if you are positive you want no more kids then why not. you don't have to take your guys man hood. and don't have to worry about getting prego
Well, for one thing, you don't have to worry about chemicals and extra hormones running rampant in your body.
I still wouldn't do tube-tying though. I don't really like any birth control, for that matter. Que sera sera.
because sometimes you reach a point in your life where you know you don't want anymore kids at all and taking a pill everyday is silly, too easy to forget and not as reliable as having tubes tied.
because we had 3 kids and didn't want to bring any more children into this world- birth control doesn't always cut it or we wouldn't have 3 kids
Birth control is not 100% effective. It is possible to get pregnant despite birth control.
Females usually tie their tubes when they no longer plan to have children. With birth control pill you can still become pregnant even if you didn't plan too.
People get sterilized whe they want to be as certain as possible that they will never have a child again, and they don't need to worry about birth control from that point on.
Are you kidding me???
If you're sure you don't want any more kids why wouldn't you? Birth control is a pain in the butt!
No more pills to take (and the side effects, doctors visits that go with them).no more condoms (if you're in a safe..I've been with my husband for 12 years). No more foam or whatever else..
You can do it when you want...no more oops out of condoms...no more trips to the pharmacy.
If you're sure you don't want anymore GO FOR IT! I am! I'd have them tie my tubes when I have my daughter, but it is a Catholic hospital and they won't!
The answer seems fairly obvious..other than abstinence, bc is not 100% effective. If you don't want anymore children, then why not. Although I think the man having a vasectomy is a lot simpler.
Its a personal choice. Its long term and effective. Some people forget to take pills or put on the patch. I have an IUD and it was less invasive that surgery for tubal litigation. Now I have 5 years of guarantee that I will not have any babies.
I don't criticize any form of b.c. because of the outrageous world population.
Well it's simple really. I DON'T WANT TO HAVE ANYMORE KIDS! My husband and I are together for the long hall and we are finished having kids. We have a great family. Even if one of us were to pass away (god forbid anytime soon) I am sure that I will never have anymore children. I have lived my life with him and his children no one elses. We don't want to have an acident pregnancy and regret that child later in life. So that's my answer. Some people are just SURE!
birth control isnt 100% effective. also, most methods of birth control cost a fair amount of money.
It's the most cost-effective means of birth control over time, if you don't want any more kids. Think about it: $10-$35 a month for the pill, patch, shots, or Nuvaring; $200 (or sometimes free if your insurance covers it) every 5 yrs for an IUD; $12 and up a month for condoms, sponges, and/or spermicides... Over a reproductive life of about 20 yrs, it adds up...
Because of not being able to affort to have any more children. Other birthcontrol is not as likely to work. I had heard of people who got pregnant even after having this done.
Why in the world would you use birth control as in pills, and all the problems they've had through the years, over having your tubes tied, and now, it can be reversed and, you don't have to suffer the problems of the pills.
I'll give you two reasons... Matthew and Ryan. Two of my four children were conceived while I was diligently using birth control. After having my fourth child, who was planned, I decided to make it final and have my tubes tied. I love ALL of my children for the awesome people they are but my husband and I wanted to have control over how large our family got and we weren't able to guarantee that with birth control. Now we're able to enjoy the family we've created and also a healthy sex life without having to worry about unknowns.
I have a friend who has done this, she cannot afford to have another child and doesn't want to run the risk of birth control failing.
I guess that it is personal choice.
Because maybe some people are just done having kids and they dont want any room for errors.so why take the risk of missing birth control and getting pregnant when you can have your tubes tied and not have to worry about the "oh no I forgot to take my birth control...I hope Im not pregnant..."
I am preg with my 3rd child and do NOT want anymore kids so I am getting my tubes tied when i deliver. I have been on birth control for 10 years and am SOOOO ready to not have to worry wether i took my pill or got my shot. and am SOOOOO ready to not have to worry about wether i am preg not. If u really think about it.. it is still a type of birth control, but a perminant one. If u think it is wrong to get ur tubes tied to not have kids then why do u think its ok to be on the pill for the rest of ur life not to have kids? all getting ur tubes tied does is keep woman who are done with wanting kids a way not to have to have them like the pill and other birth controls do for woman who may want one sooner or later. now i can have sex 24\7 with my husband and not have to worry.
I did it because I got pregnant on birth control and with my last two pregnancies I had a SEVERE condition of Hyperemesis Gravidarum and it almost killed me. The doctor said if I did get pregnant again my life WOULD be in danger. Any more questions?
Ha ha ha! I have TWO reasons for you! One is almost 4 years old and the other is soon to be born! ( i was on the pill with both pregnancies)
All birth control pills use hormones that have side effects that can hurt your body. Many men don't like to use condoms. If you don't want any kids and you don't want to use hormone filled birth control then you can get your tubes tied.
I'm thinking about getting this done but I'd like one more child first.
Because I got pregnant three times using birth control! And I was using it correctly.
Well I've been on birth control and i loved it but my man has one kid from someone else and he don't want to have kids with me, So that's the only reason why I'm getting my tubes tied. I don't know if that answerd your question. I tried but if your man is not like that then you should stick to birth control. It did work great for me.
