Has anyone ever had a pregnancy scare with the IUD-Marina?

you can always find someone who got pregnant while on every form of birth control.it's simple statistics. the only way to never get pregnant is, of course, abstinence.
i have an appt to get a mirena this week and i'm very excited. i did some research and asked some friends and i had a long talk about it with my dr.
i recommend you do the same. check out their website and talk to your dr. my dr has found a lot of success with his patients and recommended it to me. i'm very glad he did and i'm looking forward to such an easy, safe and effective form of birth control.

I got pregnant with a ParaGaurd IUD. I know they are different, but throughout my pregnancy (just gave birth 2 weeks ago) the medical professionals all commented on how many IUD babies they have seen in their careers, regardless of what type IUD (Paragaurd does not have hormones like Marina does).
Don't mean to scare you but if you are pregnant, you need to call your doctor immediately so that they can remove the IUD and hopefully the baby will be ok as my Gift from God is!
