Having two beautiful precious children myself, I understand what goes into being a parent and although I would wish for no abortions ever to happen, I could never force another person to go through having a life they don't want.
I am for eliminating abortion by eliminating unwanted pregnancies. I would encourage adoption or all kinds of counseling to help them cope. I would hope for a society that would pitch in and support, rather than stigmatize, a woman with an unplanned pregnancy (frankly this change may be the biggest step towards getting rid of abortion). And I'd never have one myself. If my daughter became pregnant I'd help her in any way possible so she could keep the baby. But I couldn't look a desperate woman in the eye and force her to go through with something she can't cope with.

I can't convince you, because I don't believe abortion is right, but I'm not sorry. Pro-Choice believers are right about one thing though. A woman does have the right to choose. She has the right to choose whether or not to have sex, and she has the right to choose whether or not to use birth control when she does have sex.
Frankly, in this day and age I'm surprised this is still such a big issue. With all the STDs out there I am dumbfounded that people aren't using protection for disease control. I would be much more concerned about contracting AIDS than getting pregnant. Unprotected sex is foolish.

Sorry Cammie, but if you are pro-choice, that inherently makes you pro-abortion. While you may not ever have one, believing that it's a proper "choice" for someone, means that you agree with the procedure, and that it's no big deal.
The pro-life people agree that it's murder, the taking of an innocent life. Just because the mother made a "mistake" in getting pregnant, doesn't mean that the baby's life should be ended for it. The life inside of her did nothing wrong.
