It depends on what state you live in. There is a medicaid website that will have you enter your state and then give you guidelines. If you are pregnant you also count for 2 people, just FYI. You could also fill out an application and see what happens. I believe you can resubmit an application every month if you dont get approved right away.
I think that depends on what State you live in and what their income guidelines are. Call your local Department for Social Insurance and see. Here in Ky, the income is very low for regular medicaid. You can't get a medical card if you are working a minimum wage job. They have the program for children, which I think the income guidelines are much higher. It was put in place for working families who can't afford health insurance through their workplace, or are only part-time and aren't offered health insurance. The only way to know is to call them and see what they are in your state. Good luck!
