Naval hospital &visitation rights?

im planning on giving birth at a naval hospital. my husband is serving for the marines. does my family get visitation rights when they are not in the military??

Answer:
yes as long as they are with one your husband or with a active military member. remember, non-military members/non-DOD members cannot get in to any naval base/installations unless they have an active duty personnel as an escort. They can use their own car to get in the base but they have to obtain a pass to get in. The military sponsor/escort should be there at the same time when getting this pass. By the way, which naval hospital are you planning to give birth? because sometimes they have different rules. but like i said, as long as they have a military dependent ID or active military with them then your visitors are good to go.
