Just a mass of tissue?

Who comes up with this crap? a mass of tissue is a tumor. Since when is it that a hearbeat and a brain function and the ablility to move and react to sound and light what a tumor does? I just don't understand how "it's a fact that until a baby can survive on it's own" that "it's just a mass of tissue". Whombever came up with this term is sadly mistaken a cancer for a life! Who agrees with this? Medical doctors aknowledge a fetus as a living being. Some doctors don't believe in God at all. But they do believe in life. It's RESPECT! How did this happen? When did this happen?

I'm with you. A baby is a baby from the day he/she is conceived.

Recently in the paper where I live a man was indicted for killing his unborn baby. His girlfriend was 5 months pregnant and he punched her and kicked her until the baby died. I hope he rots in prison. I glad that someone realized he killed a baby and not a "mass of tissue"

i know, a fetus is a living thing, i am all for getting rid of abortion and putting through laws to protect fetus rights, they are all ready making steps towards it now that they have that one law that if you kill a mother with a child u can be charged with 2 murders, that is the first step in the goal
Agreed. As for fetus being the medical term; my doctor never refered to my babies as fetuses when I was pregnant.It was always "Do you hear the baby's heartbeat?", or "Do you see the baby's head?". Whatever you know...lol
It's ignorant people that come up with the crazy terms.. Almost like people thinking that since our body is made up of a high percentage of water, they think we evolved from the sea. They try anything to turn peoples judgement against the possibilities of God creating man kind. Just remember though, people are entitled to their own beliefs and opinion. We don't have to agree with their beliefs.. I'm with you on this, I believe a baby is a baby from the minute that egg is attached. I'm Pro-Choice and I DO NOT believe in abortions.. But, being Pro-Choice myself don't mean I will run out and kill my baby.. People have their own opinion even if I don't agree with them. The only time I agree is if it's a rape or incest baby. I'm with you on this one.. People like that irritate me BAD!! I just keep in mind one thing. "YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID!!"

amen..and by the way, it started happening when people swollowed the idea that pregnancy was an inconvenience, that they didn't have to take responsibility for just because they made the choice to have sex. I am all for freedom of choice (the freedom to have sex or not to have sex)
Unfortunately, abortion is a necessary evil.

All one need do is read the number of questions on Yahoo regarding teenagers who get pregnant and people who wind up pregnant when they don't want it.

There is however a great solution to prevent an abortion:

Do not have sex.


There are too many people out there who have no lives and are totally incapable of controlling themselves around other people.
