My wife has be on the low dose pill (lyndinette 20) for 2 months, immediately after her second strip of 21 days be finished we had "unprotected sex". Is it possible she is pregnant, or does the hormones from the pill stay contained by her system and prevent her from getting pregnant.
Answers: The pill is designed to be taken 21 days on, 7 days off. She should be only just fine. She is not at higher risk of getting pregnant on the 'days off'...those are a short time ago there to bring on her term. So long as she's taking the pills as directed, they should be 99% effective. No worries.
