How about in case one of her friends needs it? Girls often carry stuff in their purses that might not be for them. For example, I always carry a tampon with me, even when I'm not having my period--someone else might need it, and what goes around comes around, I'd appreciate it if someone gave me one when I needed it! Girls gotta look out for each other. And that includes making sure that if a friend is going to hook up with a guy, that she's got protection.
