You could probably sue for Vet costs and you could have them charged with failure to restrain their animal, but other than that no not unless their dog did damage to your property

yes they can if your dog is a pure breed,and you can prove that their dog actually did the deed. you can sue for the damage to your dogs registry, this makes the dogs puppies in the future less valuable.also like someone else said you can sue for the vet bills incurred by the pregnancy.good luck.
Each state has their own laws, In my state the owner whose pet did not stray can ask for damages, this can be alot if the dog is of show quality. For those of you Bob Barker types who keep swearing by Spaying and Neutering, when you raise quality show dogs you don't want to spay or neuter your dogs.
