Answer:
Tell your boss now. Because you have had a miscarriage before, regardless of what the reason was, you are now probably in a higher risk pregnancy category. I would advise against doing a lot of lifting simply because your back needs its strength for the impending weight it will have to carry. If you can't stop what you're doing, maybe get another nurse to help you when you do have to lift more than 10 or 15 pounds. Good luck and God bless.
You really shouldn't be lifting.Especially people...because they are pretty heavy.

You should tell your boss right away.

Best wishes
no lifting, tell ur boss now. good luck
You should be fine up until your 7th month. Your last miscarriage had nothing to do with your activities, there was a problem with the egg itself. You can continue as long as you do not have any physical limitations such as hypertension, muscle or bone injuries, etc. Anyways you should be wearing (lift belts) and taking precautions when you lift patients and even light objects. Practicing at home to lift properly will help get you in the habit if you are not used to the proper technique. I work in a hospital and see nurses work up until they deliver. Your job should be providing you with whatever you need to properly do your job. If you feel that you cannot lift a patient, enlist some help and let your superior know.
i think you need to ask your docter that question, only he or she know your history, they might say that you could have anther misscarriage, take care of yourself and the baby, remember it is not just you now
I'd speak to your doctor, he/she knows your medical history and would be more able to give you an educated answer on the subject.

However, most doctors reccomend against any type of heavy lifting (over 35 lbs) throughout the entire pregnancy. Especially in the first 3 months, you have to take it easy because you are at higher risk for miscarriage.

You should tell your boss right away if you are pregnant because you will get lighter job duties, and be away from certain chemicals and medicines that could harm you or the baby right now.
sounds like you have already made up your mind to find another job so go for it because I agree with you if you lost one child why chance losing another one stress alone can cause a misscarriage for the record
Lifting is a No, No throughout pregnancy and especially in the first few months. I'd speak to your boss asap, as the working conditions for you should be altered asap, as changing job won't be ideal at the point, you may loose all the maternity benefits.
