Will Taking Estrogen Reduce the Effectiveness Of Birth Control?

Ok So I was on Estrogen for two weeks because my depo shot was causing abnormal bleeding (I bled for a month straight) and I needed to have a pap test done. about two weeks after stopping the estrogen I started having pregnancy symptoms, at first I thought it was from stopping the hormone, but now my boobs are SO freaking sore I almost can't stand it (this is how they were before i found out I was pregnant with my first child). So my question is could taking the Estrogen have caused my birth control to fail?

Answer:
I guess anything is possible. Call a pharmist and they should be able to help you
That's a common question actually. Rather than go through a typing course to lay it out, I've found an answer in the form of an article - see below in source.

Hope it helps.
