Child Visitation Denied Although Court Ordered?
Answer:
No it is not legal! She can get in trouble when they both go back to court. Tell him to write EVERYTHING down and bring it with him when they do. I would go make a report at the police station so it's in legal writing for the court date. Make sure to call the courthouse for your rights on a lawyer. If you have to have one to make a court date for her being in CONTEMPT of COURT.good luck...L
no, it isn't legal. call your lawyer and contact the court immediately. actually, you could call the cops too. if you have the paper work that says he gets the child on a a certain day and the other parent will not give them up, they can get in serious trouble for that.
Looks like he should have been there!
Don't raise any dust over this. It is her way of punishing him because he has missed some visits. If he shows good faith, then she'll probably do the same.
Not sure on laws in Texas, but in Tennessee I had to contact my lawyer and file a contempt of court order on my EX. The cops wouldn't help at all even having court papers. You may be able to get the contempt order by going to your juvinile court system if you do not have a lawyer.
its not legal. he made the situation worse by missing the last few visits. he should of rescheduled his work. women everyday put their children first. 2day at work their was a meeting that went over my shift. i was required 2 stay but i had 2 pick up my son @ preschool. if i didn't pick him up who would,my husband does not get home till 6pm. maybe thats how your boyfriend needs 2 do it. one day a week do whatever is neccessary 2 make it 2 c his daughter. he can reschedule meetings, start work earlier, stay at work later on thur or tue 2 make up for wednesday. he can't just schedule everything perfectly around you guys schedule. Y didn't u go pick her up?
i know it is not legal call your lawyer. Its crazy because you know if the situation was reversed and he didn't return the child to her on time or something all hell would break lose. She is trying to be complicated and dont listen to these people who are saying he should have been there. Work has to be done or child support cant be paid and there is another battle.
