After not having a menastral period for over three years is it possible to become pregnant.?
Answer:
My friend didn't have a period in over 2 yrs and has jst given birth to a lovely baby boy last month! She went full term and had no problems thru the pregnancy or labour. Also on the home pregnancy test thing! I have 2 kids myself and when I was 6 wks pregnant with my first I took 4 home tests and they all came back negative yet when I went to the docs the same week he told me I was 6 wks! I think u should definately go and see your doctor for a pregnancy test
the question is why have u not had a period for 3 years?
if your hormones are kicking back in then it could be causing all ur symptons..
I second what the first person said. Why haven't you had a period in 3 years? You need to see a dr. Good luck.
Hi ,
while you don't state your age , current sexual activity / married / single / previously having been pregnant , if so was it to term.
However that being said if you have not had the menopause then it is possible.
The absence of the menstrual cycle is not a guarantee that you are not capable of becoming pregnant .
I presume you are aware of the purpose of the cycle it'self and it's link with the creation of the female 'egg' etc.. if not please visit a family planing session at your GP's.
The symptoms you have described are familiar with pregnancy , however they are also symptoms of a number of other maladies.
It is not wise to speculate or use this method of communication for assurance , please make an appointment with your GP , or visit the Family Planing Clinic most local to you and consult a physician or practitioner nurse armed with your medical history.
Best wishes.
