After I boil water for baby's formula do I have to let it cool? because i forgot and mixed the formula with it
Answer:
please people if you are going to answer a question read it first.
it is safe for you to mix the formula with the freshly boiled water not a problem it doesnt take away any of the vitamins etc in the mixture.
this lady is not stupid she knows not to feed her baby boiling liquid.
she asked if the water needed to be cooled b4 she added the formula to it.
not when its boiling hot, no.
No- don't give her boiling water! Let it cool down, and put some on your wrist to test it! If it's too hot, it can burn her tongue!
yes, you can give it to her, but make sure it is cooled down, the hotter it is, the better it mixes up.
i hope u let the water cool before giving her the bottle it don't matter if its warm or cold when u put the formula in the bottle just don't give the bottle to her if its too hot for her to drink
just put it in the freezer for about 3 minutes, will be down to room temperature then
It should still be safe to give to her as long as it is cooled down first. Just put it in the fridge to let it cool down (for no more than 24 hours) and warm it up a little by running hot water over the bottle for a few minutes, or let it sit in a pot of hot water for a few minutes.
Would you drink boiling hot liquid? Let the bottle cool down to a drinkable temp before giving it to your baby. As far as mixing boiling water with the formula, that is fine. You won't hurt the formula with boiling water, just the baby.
Let the water cool before feeding. When my daughter was on the bottle the dr. said not to boil the water you should just put it in the microwave and warm the water then add the formula.
DEFINENTLY NOT THE HOTTER THE BETTER
you have to make it as hot as possible!! make sure the formula is like , 345943587 degrees, and then give it to your child.
CHILDREN LOVE HOT FORMULA
Use bottled water instead of boiling it. Then warm the water in the micowave for 15-25 seconds then add formula
I've made bottles up with warm water, but not ones I was giving to my daughter right away. Just test the bottle like you normally would to make sure it's not too hot. As long as the temp. is ok, it doesn't matter if you let the water cool or not before making the bottles.
As long as you cool it first.
Why are you boiling it first? Where do you live.I was told in my area not to do that because it boils out the floride and stuff..didn't matter to me I was breastfeeding, but I thought you always had to.
Turns out no! As your doctor.
There is usually no need to boil water before mixing it with formula. Ask your Dr about the water supply in your area. I use bottled water for my 4 1/2 month old but when he starts getting teeth I will just use regular tap water for the flouride.
yes you do because it might be too hot
Never give a baby boiling water! It will burn her mouth and throat and everything else.
This is what I do, I boil the water, then I put it in a water jug and leave it on the counter, then when its room temperature I use it, and I have lots leftover for next time... so then you don't have to heat up the water and cool it when your baby is screaming for a bottle!
And when the water supply is getting low, do it again, so by the time you run out of the room temp water, the new one will be all ready for you!
(Or just buy a gallon of water from the store for 69 cents!)
Good luck!
wait for it to cool down so you don't burn her, but you can mix it when it is boiled that is fine
half of these answers are from people who obviously do not have kids, and probably never should. if you give your baby boiling water it will burn her. you should ALWAYS pour a drop of formula on the inside of your wrist. if i is hot on your skin it will burn her very sensitive mouth. anytime you have these kindof Questions you should go to parenting.com or babycenter.com
Its best to let it cool a lil bit
It's not gonna hurt anything to mix the formula with the hot water. It does mix together better that way. BUT there's no need to boil your water at all. With my first I used bottled water but with my second Ijust used tap water.
