Plan B late pill?
Answer:
I have an 8 month old daughter as a result of birth control AND plan B not working correctly. (I don't want to say anything bad about my daughter, I am so grateful my birth control didn't work! I can't stress that enough, so please do not think badly of me because I am sharing these facts) But here is the truth: prepare yourself for whatever the outcome may be. The doctor that gave me Plan B said it is more effective to take both pills at once. So that is what I did (didn't work). The longer you wait after having unprotected sex, the more of a chance you have that Plan B will not work. If you did not experience any side effects from the pills, such as bleeding or nausea, the bigger the chance you have that they did not work. DO NOT continue to take birth control, PLEASE, until you find out that you are not pregnant. If, during this time, you want to have sex with your boyfriend, please use a condom. Until you are able to test for pregnancy, you should treat your body as if you were already pregnant just in case. I hope you can be happy with whatever results you receive, and I am praying for you!
You are pregnant. Time to get your boyfriend to the courthouse and get a marriage license than to the justice of the peace for a marriage certificate. Surely, you want to have your child legitimately? . . .
Well there's nothing you can do about it now. Just hope the Plan B worked or that you were lucky enough to have not been ovulating. I'm so sick of women not reading their information pamplets when starting birth control! It says quite clearly that it takes 7 days to become active.
