A question about the Patch birth control?
Answer:
The BC Patch is a controlled release medication, meaning that as long as it is on your skin, it will release the hormone tricking your body into not ovulating. As soon as you take the patch off, or after the medication has all been dispensed (after one week), you will risk getting pregnant.
first it takes a few weeks to start protecting you once u use it. then it still protects u for a couple weeks after you stop. every fifth week u r not suppose to use it.
obviously if u get off birth control you can risk gettin pregnant, and the month thing, that is totally not true.. you will alwais have a risk of getting pregnant no matter what. the only positive way of not getting pregnant is to NOT have sex
Yes, it needs to be left on the entire week to work properly, and yes, if you leave it on for more than 1 week it will not properly work. The thing w/ birth control is it does not work the same for everyone, it needs to be used according to directions to effectivly work, many women get pregnant after stopping the pil because they think they are covered for the following month, which is not true.
yes you could preg. take proper procution as per instructions
I believe your question has been answered. Just wanted to inform you about another thing. Taking antibiotics while on any birth-control medication decreases the effectiveness of the birth-control. Use secondary precautionary measures to avoid pregnancy.
