Who else is sitting at home babysitting so someone else can go out tonight?

Yeah! That's me. It's new years eve. I'm at home babysitting my neice & nephew so my sister can go out.
Am I a loser or what?

Answer:
Hey, that's not a loser thing!
I used to do that every year at New Years, also St. Patricks Day. Those are the WORST nights for drunks so I just wouldn't compete for road space. Plus I don't like to be around drunks, so the parties got old years ago.
And just think, now your sis owes you, big time!
that sucks
Im at home with a friend who just had a baby - friendsitting I call it, since she cant go out.
No. It's o.k. I think you can have a lot of fun with them. You could make games, watch TV...
But if you really wanna go out, call your sister and tell her that you guys should take turns watchinng the kids.
Yeah. I was going to do that, but it turns out they don't need me... and you're not a loser, just a nice person.
I am watching 10 kids tonight. They figure I am preggo, can't party anyways! Tis ok, I love kids and am happy to get the practice in!! No your not a looser, a great aunt YES!
No, you are not a loser. You are a great person for giving your sister this gift.

I am at home taking care of my husband who is very ill, but we are together and that is all that matters to us, and we will share a drink of Bailey's at midnight.

You will have many other New Years celebrations. Your friends are your friends for a little while, but your sister is your sister for the rest of your life, and you will always need each other.
No!! You are a person who is a GOOD person and sister. I have only been away from home 3 times in 51 yrs on New years eve. Even when I was a partier this was one nite out of the holidays I stayed home to do what you're doing and never regretted it Why, you may ask? Because there are too many ameteurs out drinking and staying at home with friends and /or family always makes me feel safer. YOU ARE A WINNER!
Nope, you're not a loser at all.

1- You're a kind, selfless person who chose to be responsible enough to care for another's children.

2- You're being very sensible since you won't be out on the roads while all the drunken revelers are trying to navigate their way back home.

3- Another plus about being "stuck babysitting" is not having a hangover tomorrow ;-)

4- If it helps any, remember, you're not the only one who isn't going out to celebrate tonight. I'm at home with my hubby who is too sick to barely get out of bed (hopefully he'll get a transplant soon).

5 - Have a happy New Year!
I am doing the same thing and having lots of fun. You'll be rewarded.
Nah you are a good Aunt. When you posted this it was 12pm 1st jan here so New years is over. I went to a party but took my kids with me. They had a great time playing with other kids and thought it was brilliant that they stayed up till 1am. (mine have a strict bedtime of 7.30 and it doesn't change even in school holidays as they don't sleep in and if they miss sleep...weelll you don't want to be around them LOL) My G slept till 10 am but my B woke up earlier so he had a little sleep this afternnoon. My G will go to bed early tonight!!
