Traffic violations in foster care liscence?

I am in the process of completeing a homestudy for foster care. I have gotten two speeding tickets in the past two weeks! Will this effect my chances of being approved? I have a few other violations, but it has been a year since my last offense.

Answer:
The speeding traffic violations will not reduce your chances for a foster care license. However, if you have more serious traffic offenses, or compounded ones, that would result in an arrest warrant or some other alleged or conviction for a misdemeanor or felony, then there may be an issue. I suggest you be open about it with the worker conducting your home study - we all make mistakes.

Good luck.Your desire to help children in need is commendable.
Your driving skills and your ability to follow directions (the law) has everything to do with your ability to provide a child with a SAFE home where they will have the opportunity to have a positive role model.

When it comes to children..."More is caught than what is taught".
