have missed a couple of pills. I had unprotected sex on the 14th day of the month, what are the chances that i could be pregnant and how long to i have to wait to take a home pregnancy test?

The chances of getting pregnant are certainly higher halfway through the month, if the pills were missed.

You can take an early pregnancy test a few days before your period is due, if you get one that specifies that. I think the newer ones can test four days or so ahead of your period. If you can wait until your period is actually due or past, the results may be better.
