What do to about a "mother" that wants back her custody on 1 out of two children?

I'm the stepmom (the momma) and the "mother" had 3 children we have 2 and the other child lives with her and we have full custody of the children. The "mother" gave up 1 of the children and the other one that we also have she abandon 3 different times and she's the baby of the 3. The mother favors this child but she does drugs prostitutes etc.. she doesn't pay child support when she's order to and we're fixing to go to court on child support and dhr said that she's complaining to try to get the child back. The judge knows what she does and he's gave her back to the mother anyway 2 different times but now the judge gave her custody to us because she didn't appear in court and she's saying that the reason she didn't come to court was because she was in jail which is the truth she got busted for drugs. The court favors in mother favors as you can see. The child tells her mother that she wants to live back with her. The mother wants the child to tell judge she wants to live back with her,

First, get a lawyer.

Second, this is going to sound harsh, but stop being selfish and seeking child support. You are a two income family! You already said she is basically scum and obviously her life is falling apart. It's obvious she doesn't have much money based on the lifestyle you said she has.

Focus on getting full time custody and then a restraining order for your entire family.
Speak to a lawyer that specializes in family law and custody issues.
You and your husband need to get a better attorney! Plain and simple. Get custody of all the kids and get that crazy woman out of the picture. In order to win court cases, you need a good attorney. Shell out a few more bucks and make those kids a better life.
in most states, it is SO HARD to prove that a mother is unfit. as the child telling the judge where she wants to live--it is gonna depend on the judge, how old the child is and the reasoning behind it. It might be the mom is letting the child "do as she please" and promising things. i would need to know more before i gave you more advice. good luck, im meet if need to. please do, i know where you can look for more info
