2 questions about UnBorns...Please Help?
Answer:
all babies grow at different rates. I've measured a week a head for about half of my pregnancy. As long as the doctor says everything is fine there is no reason to worry about a baby that's a little big or even a little small, and may change during pregnancy from week to week.
The heartbeat is a myth. You can have a girl with a lower heart rate or a boy with a faster heart rate. You've got a 50/50 guess and that's why it seems like so many people get what they expected from that.
Every baby grows at different rates. The proof of this is that all babies are not born weighing the same weight.
The heartbeat is not a reliable detector of the sex of the baby.
Nothing in nature is uniform, so it may be that nothings wrong, but I think you should ask a doctor or specialist!
all babies grow at their own rate, the heartbeat has no bearings on what the sex of the child is, the best way to find that out is to have an ultra sound.
At 12 weeks, the baby is usually not big enough (even if you're told that the size is about 13 weeks) to be the cause of your tummy yet. It's probably just gas and everybody bloats or doesn't a little differently. Even if it is baby, it's not unusual for some to be bigger than others - its called diversity.
The heartbeat thing is an old wives tale and doesn't correlate to the sex of your baby - the only way to tell for certain is to get an amniocentesis (which I wouldn't recommend just for the sake of determining sex) - ultrasound guesses have been known to be wrong lots of times.
Pregnancy is still such an unknown, even in 2006. There is a 2 week grace period (if you will) when it comes to how far along you are. So your Dr. can tell you 12weeks but you could be as little as 10 or as far as 14. Also every baby is different even when the sonogram tech. sees a penis on the fetus. It could be worng. So really just relax and focus on a healthy pregnancy. Somethings really are beyond your control. I wish you the best. Pregnancy is a very special time in a woman's life, so enjoy every minute ... even the uncomfortable ones.
Babies grow at different rates in different bodies.Everybody eat and take care of their bodies different. That is why babies are born different weights and sizes. I don't believe the rate the heart beats have anything to do with the sex of a child. I think that has to do with the chromosomes. I think the heart rate changes according to how the baby is effected to the living conditions within your body.
The gender has NOTHING to do with the heart rate. And babies willl of course grow at different rates, some grow faster in the beginning, and slower at the end.
Like puberty, girls hit it before boys usually and get taller at the 11-13 range, but then boys hit theirs and spurt right up with them.
