Can i be pregnate?
Answer:
It is possible to get pregnant even though you have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). It is less common, but there have been plenty of women who have gotten "accidentally" pregnant even though they have PCOS. That being said...it is hard to determine a pregnancy based on symptoms. The symptoms could mean you are pregnant, it could mean you are about to get your period, it could be that you are ovulating (often doesn't occur in women with PCOS without medication). The symptoms you asre probably feeling are related more to hormone changes than anything else (which occurs during those things that I listed above).
I suggest taking a home pregnancy test. If it is negative and it's been at least a month since you're last period, then you are probably not pregnant. Most likely, you have not gotten your period due to the PCOS. Many women with PCOS have very irregular cycles and miss cycles altogether. Either way...if you are still unsure after a couple weeks..call your doctor. They can do an internal exam or a pregnancy blood test. Good luck.
Normally my PMS symptoms start about a week or so before, so you probably aren't. But if you're late, I'd go get a home pregnancy test.
