Is it safe to spend hours on the computer when you're pregnant?

Someone told me once that it's harmful to the unborn baby if you spend too much time on the computer because there is a slight bit of radiation you are exposed to through the monitor or something. I probably sound really dumb for asking this but I'm hoping someone could give me a definite answer.

Answer:
there is nothing wrong with it. There are a lot of pregnant women who work 40+ hours a week in front of a computer.

Like the first answer states, just make sure to go out and get some excericise. Takes some small breaks too to stretch your legs and walk around the room.
That's a bunch of bull. The reason it's not good to sit at a computer for long periods of time when you're pregnant is the same reason it's not good to sit at a computer for long periods of time when you're NOT pregnanty. LACK OF EXERCISE.
Computers are safe. If they were harmful, we would have heard about it from the millions of professional women who work at computers every day all through their prgnancies.
everything gives of EMR (radition) so no it is not harmful but I would stand up and walk every 30 mins or so
