25$ gift for 8 and 10 year old boys?
Answer:
I am going to assume they are brothers? If so, why not get them something they can do together? Instead of dividing money in half do something they can work on as a team. Video games, or something active. For Christmas we got our boys that basketball game (has the whole frame so the ball comes back to you - not just the backboard and hoop - and it keeps score) for inside They both enjoy it and it gets them off the couch and instead of it being fierce competition, they support and cheer each other on.
Remote control cars they can race, or even one of those tracks they can build and race together.
If all else fails. Money.
cash. make a day of it. take them shopping and out to micky d's.
my son just turned 8 and he can't get enough of the movie Cars also anything Cars related will do the trick.
I think you are going overboard! How could you blow Christmas? You gave them a gift because you love them, not to impress them right? I'm sure they both got plenty for Christmas from everywhere else, so why are you worrying about it now? Take them both out for lunch and have a good time and get them something better for their birthdays if you want! I'm sure they will appreciate spending time with their Aunt who loves them, more than another gift!
My boys were into the YU-GI-OH cards at that age...well one still is at age 12. Comic Books are good also, they are reading and enjoying it! Collecting comic books is a big deal too for some, older comics are worth a lot of money. Find out specifically what their interests are, if either of the things I have mentioned are.go to Toys R Us and get the cards, or go to collector stores for the comics. My boys love the comic books and the super heros they read about.
Perhaps you can get them a video game cartridge or a music cd or a movie dvd. You can even get them a gift certificate to a store they might enjoy.
a video game or a dvd or just get a gift card to their fav store
If you are clueless you could always give them money to goget what they want a gift card to a local store or take them out to lunch and for a movie that is what i did with my brother.
How about a gift card from Toys R Us? I have children that age, and they love to have their own money to spend. They love to be able to pick out something and pay for it themselves.
1:24 or1:18 scale die cast metal cars whe n i was little i colected them and there worth cash i have still like 20 or 30
I have two boys the same age...they loved getting gift cards. They received gift cards for a local video game store that sells both used and new video games and also gift cards for Toy R Us. My sons also love Legos...anything from Bioncles to Star Wars to Lego Racers. Good luck!
