Market Day School Program - Good Deal or Rip-Off?
I'm looking for some feedback from people who have ordered from Market Day. How is the quality of the food? Would you say you pay more or less from Market Day then you would at a regular grocery store? Would you recommend it? Thanks.

most of the things are too expensive but on some of the things you can find good deals. i wouldn't plan my groceries for the month on it though. ouch on the pocketbook. hope this helps. good luck.
Some of the deals are good but I find that most of it is expensive. I think that it's worthwhile if you are looking for convenience, most things are individually packaged and are fast and easy to cook. It's also easier than going to the store. Quality is fair on most products. I view it as a fund raiser for the school. I can't afford it all the time though.

Some of it is overpriced and you can find a better deal at a wholesale store. However the frozen vegetables are amazing. I am one to eat canned or fresh. But for Thanksgiving we had corn and peas, they were the best thing I've tasted. I refuse to buy the cans now. The meat specials are great as well. There is no fat on the meat and it is always moist. Buy one or two items and try it. The quality is good but that's what your gonna get with high prices is good quality.
I used to order market day a lot, but then I got a job and couldn't go and pick it up. I grew up on market day. Their chicken gems are great. The cookie dough is good. Their BBQ Riblettes are awesome. You get what you pay for. When you find something you like, I think you would pay a little more or less, it doesn't really matter, because you like it.
A RIP OFF
We order Market Day every month. I've been using their products for about a year and a half now. We spend about $50 to $100 of our grocery money through Market Day each month. Almost every product we've had from MD in that time has been great. I wasn't thrilled with their corn. Everything else has been good, if not excellent. Most of the packages are very good sized for the money.
