Any ideas for a 7 yr old's Penguin birthday party?
Answer:
You could get a fish cookie cutter and cut pizza into shapes. They also have fish shaped french fries and as always there is the fish cake..
For a game... Penguins carry their eggs on their feet so they have to waddle back and forth when they walk. You can get a football and see which kid can walk the farthest with it on their feet with out dropping it.
Good luck with 18 7 year olds... maybe there is a cocktail named after a penguin for you to drink when they all leave :-)
try 2 plan it on a movie called happy feet ur kid will LOVE it!

Have a penguin race -
Put an elastic band around their ankles and have them "race" across the room like a penguin. Make sure there is plenty of space as they are sure to fall - but that is part of the fun!
"Hatch the Penguin Egg" print out pictures of penguins on small small pieces of papers - make some "lucky" (a different color, etc.). Slip the paper into baloons and blow them up. Put the baloons - at least one per kids - in a large room and have them sit on the baloons to "hatch" (pop) the baloons. The ones that find a lucky penguin wins a prize. We did this as a dinosaur game and the kids LOVED it.
There are Sweedish fish candies (although my kids don't like them, a lot do).
If you haven't already - try googling "Penguin Party" you may get a lot of hits
I just made cream cheese penguins and was dying to tell someone about them. Here's the recipe with pictures

DEAR YOU CAN GET A PINATA AND FILL IT WITH LITTLE TOYS CANDY LIKE LITTLE TOYS CARS LITTLE DOLLS LITTLE STUFF TOYS AND YOU BUY ONE THAT LOOKS LIKE A PENGUIN AND ASK FOR FOOD CHIPS THAT THEY MAKE LOOK PENGUIN PAPER PLATES FOR CRAFTS BIRTH DAY CAKE AND HAVE THEM PUT A PENGUIN ON IT ICE CREAM COOKIES PIZZA ANY JUNK FOOD
TAKE CARE AND HAPPY NEW YEAR
make some cookie dough and get a penguin cookie cutter and let them decorate their own cookies. For food they can make their own pizzas. You can call them Penguin Pizza'a. You can also make a bowl of black and white food items like oreos and things like that. You can also have ice cream because penguins live in the cold... get it. You can also play pin the beak on the penguin. You can also play pass the penguin like hot potatoe. Also at my birthday parties, I tie mini powdered dounuts onto strings and hang them from the ceiling like the garage door, and the kids have to eat them without their hands. Also you can buy those foam visers from any crafts store and they can decorate those. You can also look in your phone book to see if you can get a penguin to come to the party(not a real one). If you go to http://www.wilton.com/decorating/basic/p... there is a cute cake that you can get some ideas from. Also if you put little papers in balloons that say things like act like a penguin and have each kid choose one and jump on it to pop it and they act it out and everyone guesses.
Why not see Happy Feet. I just went to see it for my ?birthday. My daughter and Iwent to see it and it was extremely funny.Dont know about food.
Let the children build their own Sundae's.
Buy the gummies that look like fish and (things penguin's eat)
sprinkles and whip cream. It will take time and they will have a blast!
