I wouldn't worry. It's not hurting anything. She have plenty of time left to get hold of over it and 9 is young adequate for a terrifyingly active imagination. Let her pick out a darkness light that is to say bright enough to be paid her at ease and dim adequate not to waste electicity or disturb her sleep.
