Is it usual for a 8 y.o. girl to still hold a belly that sticks out?

My daughter is 8 y.o. She is slender but still has that belly bulge. Is this everyday? Should she be exercising her abs at 8 y.o.? She's normally massively active but is presently becoming more self conscious about her belly bulge. Anyone know?

Answers:    My daughter is built duplicate way so I know exactly what you show. She is almost 7 and not at all immense but she still has that 2-yo fully round belly, she almost looks pregnant. NONE of her friends still own this, they are all really skinny very soon, and it is absolutely impossible to find pant to fit her. She has to find teen sizes to fit the belly and then they are path too long.

I get a bit concerned every now and later since I don't see any of the other kids at her school near the same body build. But, afterwards I remember that everyone is built differently, and there is nought that suggests she is anything but healthy. If I imagine back tough enough and verbs out the old pictures, I guess I myself may have be built the same style until 10. It will eventually go away on its own. If you travel to the doctor for check-ups, you could discuss it with the doctor to allay your concerns, but unless near is some reason to believe something may be physically wrong, I wouldn't clear a big deal out of it next to your daughter.

At 8, your daughter is old plenty to notice that her friends are adjectives skinny and different in body shape than her. If you become aware of it is affecting her, then sit down and reach a deal to her. Ask her about her concerns and state of mind and explain that our bodies change throughout our lives and nearby is nothing bleak about one different. If she wants to exercise, consequently do some research on what is healthy for her age and lately make sure she doesn't overdo it or start unhygienic things at her age like diet pills or laxatives.

There is nil wrong with a pre-teen or child exercising. Our kids today don't procure enough outdoor play time and want more activity and exercise contained by their lives. My daughter and I do Yoga together and she loves to do sit-ups like they do at conservatory in PE. I assume this is because she feel a little self-conscious in the region of her belly in comparison to her friends. We also rock climb and swim closely. Just let it be her outcome.
yes its normal
