My 10 year old girl has problems sleeping. anyone have tips on helping her sleep?
Answer:
Is she having nightmares? One of my daughters about that age was having "growing pains " in her legs. she would dream that she was being pulled by her legs by something. Maybe your daughter is having a similar reaction. Talk to her about why she can't sleep.
Good luck.
it sounds like growing pains.or maybe she is beeing woken up by somthing outside.its best to talk top her about it,but most children go thru strange sleep patterns.good luck finding out.
maybe she has night-mires?
Does she take naps during the day?
try some white noise such as a fan at bedtime...blue lights also create a calm atomsphere...talk to a sleep doctor.
i had the same problem just wait or go to the doctor
If she had a long vacation from school she could have disrupted her schedule and now it is confused. There might be something in the room that is waking her up. Could she have anxiety? Maybe she only wants to sleep when someone else is awake because she feels safer. I would say a warm bath or shower before bed. A fan or some soothing music in the room, and make sure she is comfortable. Not too many blankets or not too cold. And make sure that there are optimal conditions in the rest of the house. If my TV in my bedroom is too loud the kids wake up.
milk might help
