lunchables are great. Give her one with a piece of fruit. My girl loves them. Maybe you could also throw in a granola bar or something with some fiber. I get the turkey. It is lean and yummy. Good-luck and remember you are in control of her lunch sac. Try to make it appealing yet with a healthy flair.
soups in the drinking bottle, and pasta salads are good. You can add cheese instead of veggies to it.
always there lunchables j/k pasta/soup/Rice.. or Just buy lunch at school. Everyone should eat veggies.. it not good not to eat veggie.. always have something green..to eat.. You should let her know green is important to her.. I know a lot of people who doesn't like veggie.. but they still eat it..
sorry to sound rude but who makes the rules you or her? kids eat what you teach them to eat..keep giving in to her wants and you are in trouble i use to babysit a 5 yr old who "wouldn't eat veggies"...but i told him he had to to get other things, and to be healthy..so he did. i also have a 2.5 yr old who loves veggies. she knows they are good for her, and she gets nothing else until she eats dinner. it's not hard just be the boss,she eats what's there or nothing at all...8 is old enough to understand
There are plenty of ideas running through my head on this! How about spaghetti or baked chicken? Hot dogs! Calzones are easy to prepare (stuffed pizza). Soups are always a great source of nutrition, too. Kids also like to have a snack that they can either share or swap, like granola trail mix or mini muffins/cookies.
