How can I help my son enjoy school and make more friends?
Answer:
He is going to have to pull his own weight and not let these little bullies pick on him. Thats what bullies like is the attention they get from the people they hurt. I tell my little girl to not pick on nobody, but if they pick on her then pick back. She has lots of friends but kids wont pick on her because they know she wont stand for it. Tell your boy to stand up to em. Thats all you can do with a bully. They think there something now but usually after school they turn out to be a nothing when the kids they pick on are living the high life.
If you have allowed him to change schools twice, then you are part of the problem. You have only taught him to be weak and run from his problems. Do you take him to those karate lessons but tell him to negotiate his problems away?
If people are bullying him tell him it's okay to kick the crap out of a few of them. Just remind him there will be consequences, but stop letting him run away.
It sounds brutal, but bullies are not looking for being enlightened, or someone showing them alternative ways of handling conflict, nor can you negotiate with them.
