Is Dreamgirls acceptable for 9 year old?

My 9 year old loves Beyonce & Jennifer Hudson and wants to see Dreamgirls. Is this movie acceptable for her age? What questionable content is in the movie?

Keep in mind that we often view TOGETHER other PG-13 movies (Ex. Dodgeball, Klumps). I do not consider myself fanatical with shielding her from things, but prefer to introduce things that I feel she is individually mature enough to handle and we can openly discuss.

YES !! She can see it. There are NO sex scenes and just Mild cursing. There was nothing dirty about the movie. My boys 3 & 8 enjoyed it. There is more singing than anything. Please take her to see it. It was a good movie. A show the meaning of a TRUE friend.
I think it's ok...I saw the movie and i don't think there's anything objectionable in there...although i think the 9 year old would probably prefer to see something else!
