Are identification bracelets for children small enough for a 2 year old to wear?

My two year old just gave me the scare of my life. Luckly we have a VERY sqeeky door and I was able to get to him before he entered the street. He just learned how to open doors, and I thought the front door was locked, but I guess I was wrong. Are I.D bracelets for children small enough for his wrist in case it should happen again?

Answer:
the con of ID bracelets is strangers can see the name of the bracelet and tell the child they know them or the childs parents and convince them to go with them
If they aren't small enough, you can always remove a few links to reduce the size, and then add the links again later as they grow.
Sounds like he needs an electronic bracelet!
Ahaha yes ask a jewlery store or just go to your docotors and request one, Babies are sneaky try locking doors and blocking them, it may not look good but it works.. (RUbberbands around double doors)
Yes, there are i.d. bracelets small enough. My niece is type I diabetic and we have found a tiny bracelet at Sears, and it isn't for medical awareness only, because they will engrave anything you like on it right there. Also try a jewelry store, although those might be more pricey. Also try to search the web for pediatric medical alert bracelets and you can get a blank one from places like MedicAlert and just have it engraved locally.
Yes, you can get small identity bracelets for toddlers (or a chain might also be a good idea so it's not annoying his wrist). But perhaps child gates are also a good investment to prevent him getting to the door and a chain for the door (one which won't allow the door to open more than a few inches) so even if he does open it, he won't be going far.
look at road ID. I think they have one small enough for
To answer your question, medical ID bracelts are available in children's sizes and can be made to fit with removable links.

To offer unsolicited advice about the door, put a latch up high or buy one of those plastic things to go over the knob to keep him from turing the door knob and getting out.

Enjoy your son and his adventures. They grow up way too fast.
You can most likely get them in different sizes. I would think atleast...
They do make id bracelets for little ones. My daughter and my son both had one as early as 1 yr old. It's a good thing to have with allergies as well as just having your name and address with phone number on it too. Try www.childidbracelets.com
