What should I do?
Answer:
Try to forget about his adhd and treat him normal.
I have 3 suggestions.
1. toy jail- if he plays up give him 3 strikes and then put his fav toys in jail one at a time.
2. Pocket money for chores- it dosent have to be much. if he does the wrong thing take some money away. again 3 strikes your out.
3. The best one for a child with ADHD- A simple rewards chart with 7 boxes. everytime you find him being good or if he has a good day put a star in the box. once all 7 boxes are full take him somewhere or reward him in some way.
-make him choose what reward he wants and let him work for it.
- remember CATCH HIM DOING SOMETHING GOOD otherwise this wont work.
-praise good behaviour
-pick your battles if its not worth it ignore him.
-rule on ignoring is- as long as he is not hurting himself or anyone else you can ignore.

you just have to talk to him. Let him chill. Have him watch tv or a movie or something. Find something that calms him down.
First I have to commend you being able to work with and love your child who is struggling with ADHD! I have a couple that have 4 kids they've adopted and one has ALL the signs of ADHD, but they refuse to put him on any drugs and are CONSTANTLY battling with the school to the point they may have to put him in a special school. They're not happy. Maybe that would be your route to take. God Bless and good luck!

FIND OUT WHAT IS BOTHERING HIM SEE IF SOME ONE DONE HIM SOMETHING ARE TOLD HIM SOME THING THAT HE DID NOT LIKE IS SOME ONE PICKING ON HIM IN HIS SCHOOL? THIS IS THE FIRST QUESTION TO BE ANSWERED AND THEN ONCE ANSWERED THEN YOU CAN TAKE IT FROM THERE. IF IT IS SOME OF HIS SUBJECTS IN SCHOOL LIKE READING MATH ETC MAKE UP FLASH CARDS READ HIM BOOK WHILE HE IS GOING TO SLEEP AT NIGHT MAKE HIM LOOK AT THE PHOTOS AND TELL YOU WHAT HE SEES OK IT MIGHT TAKE MORE THEN ONE TIME ON DOING THIS AND DO NOT GET MAD HIM IF HE DOES NOT GET IT RIGHT OFF IT MIGHT TAKE HIM A WHILE IN HIS SUBJECTS AND THE TEACHERS NEED TO BE REALLY PATIENT WITH HIM IF THEY CAN NOT THEN START HOME SCHOOLING HIM LOOKS LIKE THE TEACHERS DOES NOT WANT TO EVEN TO TRY WITH HIM AND THAT IS REALLY WRONG WITH THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS THESE DAYS OK TAKE CARE GOOD LUCK.
often kids who have adhd also have ODD (oppositional defiance disorder) get to a paediatrician that deals in behavioural issues and get a behaviour plan happening
