I was going in as 9 and I turned 10 in October so basically I was 10 in 4th grade. And to the person who said unless you flunked that isn't true most kids are 9 or 10 in 4th grade. I didn't flunk I was an all A student and I still am.
Some are 8, but usually the majority is 9.
