What is a popular Christmas gift for a 6 year old boy and a 4 year old girl?

We can't spend more than about 10 or so dollars each. Thanks

Answer:
Well for the 4 year old girl, you can get her something pretty, like a "princess pack".. they usually have stuff like a plastic tiara, star wand, and a cape. It shouldn't cost all that much. For the boy, maybe some Hot Wheels? It all comes down to what their interests are.

its amazing
a nice doll for the 4-year and a nice LEGO set for the 6-year old boy, maybe something that ends up as a car at the end
The four year old girl should be pretty easy to shop for. Anything pink and sparkly will probably be right up her ally. As for the boy, I would reccomend something along the lines of G.I. Joe (I saw a great Sigma 6 set at Costco the other day) or a Star Wars legos set. However, by the time kids are 6 they start to formulate opinions on toys and so on, so you might want to have him "write a letter to Santa".
For the boy I would do a cars or lego thing.
For the girl I would do a princess or favorite childhood character themed gift (princess dress-up or dolls)
you cannot go wrong with books. the i spy books are very popular and you can get them at all different levels.

for the 6 year old boy the small legos. you can get the spiderman or wolverine heads with them inside.

the 4 year old little girl would love bratz or barbie dolls.

play dough is always a great joint gift.

merry christmas! SD
We went shopping for my niece and nephew at Targe* and were really happy this year. We found some really cute stuffed animals that were about 12" long that were ponies and unicorns for my niece. We wound up getting one of each because they were only $5.

We also found a 3 in one set in the Sporting Goods section for my nephew, a combined badmitton set/frisbee/velcro catcher set which was $5. They also had some other sporting good items for $5 like 3 small balls which had a small basketball, soccerball, football in one box also and other sets like that. I was glad we had gone there for our Christmas shopping!
How the Grinch Stole Christmas by Dr. Seuss for the boy

Any book with Barbie, Dora or Dragon Tales should be good. Make sure they're for very early readers. I'd recommend any book by Eric Carle, particularly "Papa, please get the moon for me."

They also have books on tapes that they both would love.
Boys like superheros and since Superman just came out get him something with Superman.

Girls, love little dolls and something pink. That should be very easy.

If your not sure what to get find out what they like and surf the web for ideas. Good Luck you have a few more shopping days.
