Can my animals get head lice from my daugter?

I'm gettin mixed opinions on this one. Please help.

Answer:
"Lice do not live on cats, dogs or other animals"

http://www.toronto.ca/health/hl_index.ht...

" Humans are the only hosts for head lice, body lice and crab lice. Other closely related lice infest monkeys or apes, but not dogs, cats, rodents or birds. Many animal species have their own compliment of lice that cannot infest humans. You don’t need to treat your pets for human lice."

Hope this helps!
if your daughter is rubbing her head on your pets. but i dont really think so.
i think that animals such as dogs or cats which have similar hair as us can get lice so i would give your animal a bath and see the vet if you see lice bugs
Lice have to come from somewhere before your daughter had it, and I believe that people can get fleas from pets.
Yes.they can also get all over your house and on anyone that visits you.I personally would worry about getting them out of her head not the dog getting them
