6 year old step daughter!!?
Answer:
Oooooo...Girls that age usually LOVE to be creative. How about a bunch of things to write and color with...like markers, colored pencils, or stickers? Or...you could go to a scrapbooking store and buy her a few scrapbook materials and get ahold of some pics of her daddy to make a scrapbook of he and her. You could also find some children's projects at Micheals that she might like.
Good luck. it's sweet that you're trying so hard to find something perfect for her. I'm sure she'll appreciate it.
TMX Elmo is popular for that age range.
Get her some dolls. Can't go wrong with dolls. Barbie or Bratz dolls are very popular. Or how about Polly Pocket? E-Z Bake Oven - I know I loved mine when I was that age. There are so many things for little girls - go to the toy store or Target and check out the cool stuff they have.
Pick/Set a time just for YOU and HER to go shopping, see a movie or go to a theme park...etc.
The time that you spend with her is far more valuable than any gift. Use the money to buy, lunch, ice cream, ballon, stuff animal while you both have a very special time together. You both will walk away with far more love/respect for each other than any gift could convey on the market these days! Good Luck!
I have a six year old step daughter and she is into bratz, and barbie stuff. I am going to get her a gift card to Build a bear because she has been begging to go there for months now. Anything pink also. She's a girl...chances are she will like it.
you could find out her sizes and a cute little outfit is nice or anything with Disney channel characters
the bratz or the barbies are a good idea if she has a gameboy get her the nintendo dogs game very safe
I found a dog at walmart and it licks and barks it has a wet tongue. it is so cute and its $35.00 there is a few different ones to choose from
A savings bond. That what I get my younger cousins, neices and nephews. They all get too many toys.
Bratz dolls are NOT something I would buy for a child, no matter what the age.
Take her out on a 'special day', she will remember that more and hopefully grow your relationship.
This is a sticky situation if you don't really know her. I do want to say that you are a great person for effort. The problem is if you buy her barbies she may not be into dolls and is into let's say...soccer. Then if you bought her soccer things she may not like them and be interested in something else.
If I may, I would like to offer the following suggestions. I found them to be accepted at such events such as birthday parties and things like that.
Crayons, coloring books, books for her age. Puzzles are good for that age. My kids all liked puzzles at that age and they are very educational. Legos are good, and once again educational. A bunch of stickers and special paper is fun, or a cd player [the kid's kind] with some cd's for kids. Antz in the pants game, any of those games for kids. My son loved them!
There are many options. I would choose something that is fairly generic that way she will probably like it. Good luck to you.
Mr. Bubbles bubble bath, her own hair brush ,mirrior, hair barrets ect.....
Golfish are cool too,if you can ok it with the mom.
cool toys do not need to be the standard of the in syndrome
and be realistic i thought lite brite and legos were cool at her age.
