Interviewing a immature girl give or take a few a sensitive issue?

For my school thesis, I need to interview a seven-year-old girl around an incredibly sensitive issue. Her father was just this minute (about two weeks ago) taken away to jail for the second time surrounded by her life for a crime he did not commit (long story.) The girl is remarkably strong and her thoughts on the issue, one of civil rights, are powerful and I know that she is able to express her mind clearly and articulately.

I've spoken to her mother and elder sister, and they assured me that the girl can handle the question. I'm just wondering if at hand is anything I should do to ease the tautness while I interview her. Should I interview her as I would an adult? Or should I nick into account the sensitivities of the topic and do something differently?

Answers:    If her mother think she can handle it afterwards it'll be fine. Just relax, don't be too tense ot impatient beside her. Maybe interview her while the 2 of you have some rime cream or something to ease the stiffness. Good Luck
Well just ask her the question, and if you sense that she is getting nervous, basically tell her it's ok, she doesn't hold to answer if she doesn't want to. Don't pressure her.
