Iced cupcakes for school party...i iced them with betty crocker ready to use icing and put sprinkles..do i.

put them in the fridge overnight? I don't want them to sweat when they come out of the fridge and i don't want to leave them out as the icing my run.what would you do?

Answer:
I just leave them out on the counter. I would just make sure they were covered. Put them in a pan that has a lid, so they don't dry out. They leave them out at the store too, so I know there isn't anything wrong with doing that.
I bake all the time and I leave my cakes out on the counter unless it has a diary topping.

if i use a cream cheese icing of betty crockers i put them in fridge like i do a cake cause it makes the icing a little bit stiffer and it tastes sooo good, either way they will be fine.
