Daughters Kindergarten Teachers Christmas Gift?

What would a male kindergarten teacher like for Christmas from us? Or our daughter? He is 29 years old. He is a GREAT teacher and we love him to death. This would be a lot easier if she had a female teacher, because the gift buying is easier, or at least I think that way. I was thinking maybe a gift card to Target? Is that a good idea? The Christmas isles at Target and Wal-Mart have those boxes of cookies and desserts, but he is a guy, would he like those? I know guys like cookies, I'm just thinking those are more girly. Oh I'm rambling, sorry.

I'm lost, any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

Since we teachers spend quite a bit of our own money on classroom supplies, a gift card to any store such a Target, Staples etc. is VERY appreciated! (Actually, every gift is appreciated). Along with whatever you decide, include a brief note with the gift that lets him know what you told all of us about how you feel. I have kept all of the lovely messages from parents over the years and whenever I've had a rough day--they are indeed treasured reminders of the impact I've had. Happy Christmas!
get him a tie or something that say's #1 teacher on it.
well bake some cookies you and your little gurl and bring them 2 him
I have a good friend who is a teacher and she said she gets so many gifts every year she doesnt know what to do with them. She said I wish they would just get me a card instead. So I started hiving the teachers gift cards male teachers like a home depot one and something else for a woman.
I think your idea of a Gift Card to Target is perfect!
It is always nice to be able to go shopping after the holidays when all the sales are going on. Any amount will do. He could get a DVD, music CD or something else he would like.
I think you are great to think of this teacher and considerate to figure out what he would like.
Teachers tend to be organized. Give him something for his desk, even a day planner would work. A large desk calender, office supplies, picture frame, pencil sharpener, or pencil holder. Engraved pen,
desk mirror,
lazer pointer,
label maker,
try not to give something like a gift card. It is too impersonal, and shopping for yurself takes all the fun out of getting a gift.
A gift card to Target, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes would be great!
My best friend is an elementary school teacher and she says that the best gift a teacher could possibly get are school supplies - or a gift card to a store where school supplies can be purchased. You may not know exactly what he needs, so a gift card should be the best way to go. I never knew that most teachers foot the bill for their supplies for their students. It's nice when parents can help out a bit. He'll love it.
I got my child's male teacher a dunkin' donuts gift bag. I placed gift certificates, a travel mug and a bag of their coffee in a basket.

It's perfect if he likes coffee!
Instead of actually gifting the teacher himself, why not buy something that would benefit the class as a whole? Since most teacher's end up footing the bill for materials/ supplies for the class why not purchase some materials/ supplies for the class? For instance hand sanitizer, art supplies, books for the room?
Gift card, no more then 20.00, if that's with in the budget. but instead of the card holders or going to Hallmark. have your daughter make the gift card holder.
Maybe look up on allrecipes.com and make some cappuccino in a jar and buy him a nice mug of something? I don't know...men are harder! Thank God my kids teachers are women this year!!
I'd get him a gift card to Staples or Best Buy or something like that (a "guy" friendly place). Movie theater gift certificates are great, too. If you want to make it more personal, then have your daughter make him a card or bake him some cookies to give with the gift card. Good luck!!
you don't have to be sorry, atleast when especially with giving gifts, follow your heart on what would it feel it's appropriate, what is important with giving is the idea of it and not what is "it" as long it came from our hearts..keep it up!!share the giving of christmas!!
I think a gift card to target would be great or even best buy guys like best buy. I think a gift card for a guy is your best bet.
I 'd give him a star-buck coffee gift card.
We live in North Carolina and they just started a lottery, proceeds benefit education, so I'm getting his teacher a scratch off.
Don't get him anything that says #1 teacher on it...please! A target gift card is a great idea.
