Do you buy gifts for you child's school bus driver?
Answer:
My mother has been a bus driver for 25 years. She is great with the kids and always receives gifts (homemade and storebought) My mum also gives candy canes to the kids, treats at halloween and easter. I think that a bus driver has a more important job than a teacher. They have to pick up and deliver your child to/from school every day. They receive very little pay and have a huge responsibility. I say it would be nice to give a little something to the bus driver. After all, I'm sure you give the teacher something.
uum, no, not really. Unless you like him
i never brought none so i dont kno
u can, its ur choice
Do u like him?
A Christmas card and a box chocolates would be nice.
My kids dont take a bus. Id say its a very nice gesture,if you can afford to do it. Since you know little about the person, keep it simple. If its a woman, maybe a scented candle. I wouldnt bake any treats, you never know if there are food allergies or diabetes.
My son is too small to ride a school bus still (not even in school yet lol), but I sure would, especially if they are nice.
I would see if they drink coffee, I think a gift certificate for starbucks would be nice, or maybe a box of chocloates :)

not unless the bus driver really has to deal with them alot, for example if you child is loud and constantly in trouble or rides the short bus. if you know the bus driver well (been driveing you kid more than a year) then its ok too.
For all the "casual acquaintences" in my life, (school bus driver, the lunchroom ladies, our postman, etc.) I usually do something small. This year I took red and green votive candles and wrapped each in a circle of lace, tied at the top. A small Christman ornament would be nice.
No I don't but if I did it would be a gift card for $ 10-20 bucks.
Starbucks, bookstores, CASH, any of these would be nice but only if they are show up every day and are on time. I think I have taken mine for granted in the past.
Sure. How 'bout a canteen filled with his or her favorite hard liquor? You can even get a pouch to put it in so that none of the kids suspect anything when they see their favorite driver taking shots at red lights.
Yes its a traditon where i live u give to let the bus driver know that u are thankful 4 them getting your child to and from school each day.
I normally dont say give gift cards but seeing that this person may be a stranger give them a giftcard. Maybe some candy (Everyone loves Chocolate)
Yes, just to show your appreciation Not a big Gift just a small gift,,,,,
It's a nice thought, that's what counts. I think a X-max Card would be nice maybe with a tin of homemade cookies or a scratch-off tickets., or just the card. Merry X-Mas.
not typically. It might be a nice gesture though, just something small like a christmas mug or something like that.
My family does.
My bus driver is EXTREMELY nice. He knows all of our names, and every morning he says "Good morning ____" and at the end of the day he goes "Have a nice evening ___" He reminds me of Santa and is just as nice.
For example, for saint patricks day, he puts on his famous green outfit with green plastic coins on it, and he hands them out to everyone!
So I just get him a card and a certificate to starbucks.
